SceneAroundTown.... Always Patsy Cline @ The El Portal... Hollywood Heritage Celebrates 100th Anniversary of Hollywood's First Movie!

Sally Struthers is joined by friends following the successful opening nite of "Always Patsy Cline" at the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood.  She's funny, endearing & terrific as Louise, Patsy Cline's dear friend & sidekick.  The play is written by Ted Swindley and features a 5 piece kick ass country band under the fine musical direction of John Randall. "Always Patsy Cline" is a Robert Levinstein/Alan Wager production.

Carter Calvert stars as Patsy Cline (far left) in "Always Patsy Cline" at the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood.  She is joined by her family following the successful opening nite of the hit play.  The enjoyable production features 22 of Patsy's songs including Your Cheatin' Heart, Crazy, I Fall to Pieces & Sweet Dreams. Carter Calvert is amazing as Patsy Cline... She sounds just like her...  Highly Recommended!

Fritzi Dogs is a delicous new hot dog haven located in the historic Farmer's Market at Third Street & Fairfax.  Their innovative & healthy dogs are very tasty and are the brain child of award winning chef Neal Fraser.  I recently sampled their amazing carrot dog, yummy slaw dog, zippy spicy dog, scrumtuous salsa verde dog... what a treat!  Side orders of sumptuous cauliflower and brussel sprouts sealed the deal...  sooooo tasty. sooo delicious... sooooo good!  HH
